With visions of ganache, sprinkles and a hunger for freshly baked goods, it was time again to head into the world of Cake Mania. After saving her grandparent’s bakery, marrying, taking down a big corporation and numerous other adventures along the way, star baker Jill is back for another round of baking fun.
Episode 5 of Cake Mania brings cake diva Jill back to her hometown, with a baby on the way, Jill’s husband Jack has shut down his business to help Jill cope with the influx of production crews and movie stars shooting a blockbuster movie into quiet Bakersfield.
Although the Cake Mania games follow a set formula, Cake Mania offers 110 levels with enhanced upgrades, a new “relaxed” mode, more wardrobe options and three shops. It also adds in the worry of Jill’s well meaning but klutz of a husband Jack who has to take over once Jill is ordered to stay off her feet.
The game also allows the player to try their hand at pizza dough in Gordo’s Pizza Joint and even a little style in Risha’s Fashion Boutique- by breaking up the endless baking into other fun areas, mixing it up and keeping it interesting.
The mix of customers, as always adds a level of humour- from the mime to the camera man. All have their moods and traits which need to be catered for as you juggle the duties of your successful bakery.
Cake Mania 5: Lights, Camera, Action! combines three games into one and elevates the popular Cake Mania series onto another level, it’s a satisfying way to spend an afternoon!
