Rebuild Flo’s Diner in Diner Dash 5: BOOM! Collector’s Edition. Serve customers to earn the money needed to design a brand new restaurant!

The game is scheduled to be released in 2-3 weeks so, the Collector’s Edition is for those who can’t wait to find out what new escapade is in store for Flo.

Alawar just can’t step a foot wrong, they have so many great games and my current favourite is Farm Frenzy 3: Ice Age.
When Farm Frenzy 3 was first released it gave you a taste of different locations, and the latest installment is all about the ice, baby!
The graphics are definitely one of the standout features of the game with creatures ranging from egg laying penguins, to hungry polar bears trying to steal your animals.

If you are familiar with the Farm Frenzy games then this really requires no explanation – there are objectives to follow, animals to farm and buildings to collect.

Your goods are sold at the market and by combining products you can make more valuable items, for example a simple feather can become a fancy polar bear jacket!!

This game kept me entertained for days, there are 90 levels and a special endless mode if you just can’t get enough. They have even added a touch of the North Pole with some seasonal Santa goodies to create.

A very “cool” game (pun intended).

Personally I know nothing about cars, when someone starts talking about all things mechanical my brain automatically tunes out. When I was asked to try Fix It Up World Tour, I decided to set my caution aside and give it a minute of my time. One minute soon turned to hours and I was  running my own used car empire like a pro.

While I don’t think my new found knowledge will transpire into my real life, this game certainly kept me entertained. The boss and main character in the game is a woman named Kate, and she has made a name for herself by buying old cars and fixing, painting and modifying them for a tidy profit.

There is even an eco feel as you earn environmental points from using special paints and parts. There are locations from around the world, and different cars and trucks for you to upgrade.

And guess what? There is even a love story for the romantic in you. Don’t be deceived by the oil and motors ladies, this is a game for the girls!

The first game in focus is Vacation Mogul, a time management game from Alawar Games. Let’s start with the story – you have a rich Uncle and unfortunately he dies. You didn’t know him so you aren’t too cut up about it, and with your sister you have inherited his entire estate.

Strange things happen when big bundles of money are in play and suddenly your sister is nowhere to be found and your Uncle’s lawyer has run off with her inheritance.

Being the hardworking, resourceful girl that you are, you decide to reclaim what is rightfully yours and find your beloved sister. This is a time management game where you run a real estate agency, specializing in vacation properties, hotels and attractions.

You are in charge of purchasing buildings and land, managing your resources and workers, building structures and earning money from your investments. This game is one of the better building games I have played recently and there are 38 levels to complete.

The graphics are fun and you even have to rescue a few drowning tourists (there is a cash reward for your good deeds.)

If you can’t get enough of building games, make sure you try Vacation Mogul. If you are stuck at home this holidays you may wish you were really there!
